Injections: botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid

What is it?

Botulinum toxin softens expression lines (forehead, frown lines, crow's feet). Hyaluronic acid restores volume and fills certain wrinkles. These medical procedures are performed at the practice.

Who is it for?

They are intended for people who want a subtle rejuvenation without surgery.

How it is done

Consultation, then a short injection session.

Anaesthesia

No general anaesthesia; an anaesthetic cream may be used.

Recovery

Small redness or bruises possible; activities can usually be resumed immediately.

The result

Temporary effect: a few months for botulinum toxin, several months to more than a year for hyaluronic acid.

Risks

Like any procedure, this one carries risks that are rare but real (infection, haematoma, healing problems, asymmetry, reaction to anaesthesia...). They are explained in detail during the consultation, with written information.

The information on this website is general and does not replace a medical consultation. Every surgical or medical procedure carries risks. For cosmetic surgery, French law requires a reflection period of at least 15 days between the detailed quote and the procedure.
